MEET MARY JANE YOUNG

Mary Jane Young has worked with Paul Gullickson since 1986. Given the length of her tenure, she has witnessed a lot of change. She has seen Paul’s sons grow up and enter the business, and pave the way for the transition of the Gullickson Group from one generation to the next.

Mary Jane worked as an accountant for close to a decade prior to supporting Paul’s practice. In the early years of joining his team, she handled many of the firm’s administrative functions. Today, she works on a part-time basis, taking care of all of the bookkeeping and payroll. She appreciates the firm for its ability to balance professionalism with a warm, welcoming family feel.

A big advantage of the flexible nature of her work is the time it allows Mary Jane to pursue her other interests. In her spare time, she likes to fundraise for various philanthropic projects, engage in flower and vegetable gardening, and of course, spend lots of time with her many grandchildren.

Mary Jane and her husband, Charlie, reside in DeWitt, Iowa.
